WPGC 2026: Expressions of Interest for an Additional Gig (25 & Under Crew)
If your club would like to be considered for an additional gig allocation in order to field a 25 & Under crew at the World Pilot Gig Championships 2026, please complete the Expression of Interest form attached to your Club invite.
Please note:

• Clubs may enter a 25 & Under crew in the Women’s or Open races using their existing allocation, but to be considered for an additional gig  complete the form.
• All submissions for an additional gig for 25U will be reviewed by the WPGC Committee. Additional invites will be granted at the Committee’s discretion, based on multiple criteria including fairness, capacity, and the overall development of the sport.
• The club must own an additional gig that they wish to bring
• The maximum allocation remains at three (3) gigs in total per club
• The gig may be used across all categories, but your club will be required to field an 25 and under crew in the Senior races (Women's or Open)
• If the additional gig invite has been used to take part in the Masters, Super Vets or Veteran categories and your club fails to field an 25 and Under crew in the Open race, this will result in a penalty which would include forfeiting eligibility for WPGC in future years. 

Please only submit an EOI if your club has a genuine intention to field a 25 & Under crew. 
Deadline for submission - 14th October, 2025

All CPGA-affiliated clubs and international clubs automatically get one invitation. Private clubs may receive one invite at the discretion of the WPGC. 

The following invitations are in addition to those invitations. If an additional invitation is not required, it must be returned to the WPGC for re-allocation - it cannot be passed on to another club.
